Zucchini zucchini with smoked ciolan and bacon

A quick and delicious meal.

  • 2 large pieces of zucchini
  • smoked ciolan cut into cubes (I had in the freezer)
  • 1 box of pancetta (from Italy)
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • olive oil
  • vegeta / piper / peperoncino

Servings: 2

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Zucchini zucchini with smoked ciolan and pancetta:

Pieces of smoked ciolan together with diced pancetta are put in a pan with a little olive oil for a few minutes until slightly browned.

Put enough water to cover and let it boil.

Add the finely chopped onion and crushed garlic, if the water decreases, add it, and after about 30 minutes, put the washed pumpkins and cut them into suitable slices.

Season to taste, add water and continue to boil and reduce the sauce.

When ready, sprinkle with finely chopped dill!

It has already become a tradition for any woman who cares about her figure and health to adopt a seasonal diet based on salads: summer is sometimes all we want to eat.

Unlike other foods, the salad you prepare yourself (and not the one in fast food restaurants) has certain indisputable qualities: it is light, healthy for the body and cools you during the heat.

Of course, if you add sauces full of fat, such as mayonnaise, a lot of salt, fried chicken slices or fatty cheeses, the salad will join the list of heavy foods, which you want to avoid especially in summer, when it is very hot.

It is ideal to use healthy, fresh foods, such as vegetables, seeds, olive oil, and defatted products: defatted yogurt (which can be an excellent dressing), defatted cheese or boiled or fried chicken. This is the only way you can be sure that you have prepared a healthy salad, which will provide your body with the vitamins and mineral salts it needs.

It is true, however, that often what is healthy and not fat does not taste great. Another advantage of salads comes here: the possibility to make many combinations, based on healthy foods, which will satisfy the taste of each of us.

Do you like cheese? No problem, you can add it to a chicken salad, but limiting yourself to a few cubes. Also, potatoes, viewed suspiciously by any aspirant to the ideal figure, can also be added to a salad with olives and onions, if they are among your preferences. Few ingredients are forbidden, as long as the proportions are respected.
